King’s Contrivance Newsletter
The Crown Prints, our village newsletter, is published twice a month and inserted in the Columbia Flier, which is distributed on Thursdays. Look for our signature purple ink and our People Crown logo. Huntington Tot Lots
At the Village Board Meeting on March 18, 2026, Columbia Association gave a presentation on reimagining Tot Lots in Huntington.
The proposed plans from CA involve five tot lots:
KC-03 (West Window Way), KC-06 (Sea Shadow), KC-07 (Lady Bug Row), KC-08 (Keepsake Way), and KC-10 (Indigo Court)

- Bamboo Removal Cape Ann Drive
- Beaver Run Project in Macgill's Common
- The project involves providing cover and stabilization for an existing sewer main and a water main along the Beaver Run Branch in Kings Contrivance. Click here for a map of the location with the limits outlined. Howard County DPW expects the work to begin this summer and should last approximately 3-4 months. All the work will be within the Counties Public right-of-way, but will be accessing by right-of-entry agreement with CA.

- Patuxent Branch Trail Paving Project for Kings Contrivance.
