Macgill's Common Tot Lots

At the Village Board Meeting on September 18, 2024, Jason Heath, from Columbia Association, gave a presentation on reimagining Tot Lots in Macgill's Common.

The proposed plans from CA involve five tot lots in Macgill's Common. The upgrades to the tot lots at Wayover Way and Cape Ann Drive have been completed.

The replacement of Tot Lot KC-25 Fair Beauty play area is scheduled to begin the week of 8/25/25 and is expected to take two weeks, weather permitting. The area will be closed during construction. Tot Lot KC-24 Deer Chase (the Play Meadow) will be replaced starting the week of 9/1/25 and is expected to take four weeks, weather permitting, with the area closed for the duration. These projects are part of the Macgills Common Play Area cluster program, which was presented to the Kings Contrivance Village Board last fall. A map showing the locations of both areas and final renderings of the planned features are below. On-site signs are posted to inform the public about the projects. Please see the contact information below for any questions or concerns.
